The Hi-Ex Charity Auctions in 2008 and 2009 raised a considerable sum of money for our chosen charity Children 1st. Many thanks to everyone who helped make the auctions such a success by donating items and / or bidding for some of our unique goodies!

Below are just some of the incredible items that have already been donated to the convention for 2010!

Donated by comics legend Bryan Talbot... An original A3-sized page from his recent wonderful graphic novel Grandville - signed by Bryan himself!
Donated by Leigh Gallagher (one of the most popular guests at last year's Hi-Ex): An original, signed, inked A3 sketch of Hellboy!
Michael Carroll has donated a signed Advance Uncorrected Proof of his forthcoming novel Super Human, not due for publication until May, and only in the USA! (Kitten not included).
Courtesy of the lovely people at Highland Who (a group of Doctor Who fans living in the Highlands of Scotland, based in Inverness), a fantastic blue Classic Tardis t-shirt (size XL)!
The amazing and wonderfully generous Boo Cook has donated a superb set of original comic pages to Hi-Ex! First up, Elephantmen #21, page 19 (A3 pencil on paper).
The second of Boo Cook's donations: Anderson PSI: House of Vyle part #2, page 9, 2009 (A3 pencil on paper).
A very large (61cm x 48cm) and beautiful piece of artwork donated by the one and only Simon Fraser... the very first page from Nikolai Dante: Sword of the Tsar!
From Graeme Neil Reid, a stunning original painting of Judge Dredd, A4 size, painted in acrylics!
The Punisher by Thomas Crielly (A3 pencil on paper), kindly donated by John Owens who won the sketch on a Scotch Corner Art Blog competition! Thanks to John, Thomas Crielly and the Scotch Corner artists for their support!
An extremely rare embroidered polo-shirt donated by John Burdis, mastermind behind the Hi-Ex Hell-Trek, an expedition of fans from the wilds of southern England all the way north to Inverness to participate in Hi-Ex!
Kickback creator and V for Vendetta artist David Lloyd has sent us a truly stunning original page from his highly-acclaimed "J for Jenny" segment of Vertigo Comics' War Stories.
Donated by Cam Kennedy: a rare print of Boba Fett from Star Wars (39cm x 40cm), signed by both Cam and Boba Fett himself, Jeremy Bulloch!
Donated by Cam Kennedy: an original page from Star Wars: Dark Empire #1 (book 2, page 22), signed, inked and coloured on thick paper! (29.6cm x 44cm)

Hi-Ex guest Colin MacNeil has donated the original line art drawing for this year's Hi-Ex poster image. 30cm x 35.5cm - framed by Colin himself!
A genuine Termight Replicas authorised Judge's Belt Buckle! Gold-plated zinc alloy with an enamelled shield. 9cm tall, 12cm wide, 1cm thick with a 4cm belt-loop and spike on the back.
